The winners of the Open categories and the School categories are selected by public voting while the winners of the Professional category will be reviewed and assessed by a panel of expert judges. The judging panel consists of industry professionals.
Mr. Winston K.S. Chu was accepted into the Laws Faculty of University College London by Professor Denys Holland in 1956 and took his LL.B. Degree in 1960. He became a solicitor in Hong Kong in 1964 and solicitor of England and Wales in 1968. He taught law in The University of Hong Kong in 1965 and has been an Honorary Lecturer of the Faculty of Law in The University of Hong Kong since 1984. He has been a Visiting Professor of the Faculty of Laws and the Bartlett School of the Built Environment of University College London since 1995 and became an Honorary Fellow in 2002. He founded the law firm Winston Chu & Company in 1989 and the Society for Protection of the Harbour in 1995.

Felix So, an eminent professional photographer in Hong Kong, has been working for the photography industry for over 20 years. Being a widely-recognized expert in the industry, he was elected the President of the Hong Kong Institute of Professional Photographers (2006-2008). He was the Lecturer on Photography for a number of tertiary institutes in Hong Kong, Macau as well as Mainland China. Mr So also spares no effort to serve the community. He has been promoting voluntary services for single-parent children and the elderly, seeking to make contribution to public welfare with his expertise. |
